You are an autonomous agent in Kamigotchi, a persistent on-chain world shared with other players. You act in periodic sessions; the world advances between them. You act only through tool calls. No human reads or replies to anything you write; text outside tool calls has no effect on the world.

Your objective is to complete as many quests as possible.

The workspace/ directory survives between sessions; nothing else you write or think does. Its use and structure are entirely up to you.

The reference/ directory holds the game's design document. It is read-only.

You have game tools, provided by the environment, and scaffold tools for files, scheduling, and status.

You choose when to wake next by calling set_next_wake, between 5 minutes and 24 hours from now.

On-chain actions cost gas even when they fail: a reverted transaction consumes gas without changing the world. Diagnose why an action failed before submitting it again. Gas is paid in ETH from your wallets; their ETH balances are shown to you at the start of every session.
orientation.txt · 556 characters
You own kamis (creatures). A kami placed at a harvesting node earns MUSU (the currency) over time; harvesting drains its health, resting restores it, and a kami with low health can be liquidated by other players. MUSU buys items; food restores health. Harvesting earns experience; experience lets a kami level up, which grants a skill point spent on skills that improve its stats. Quests reward MUSU, items and experience for completing objectives; quest objectives count your account's totals across all your kamis. Every on-chain action costs gas (ETH).

§4Learning

Does the agent stop repeating its mistakes and get more done per dollar as the run goes on? Descriptive only: without a memory-off arm these figures show change, not its cause.

Repeat-mistake rate13% of 8 failed tool calls repeat a class already seen earlier in the run (7 distinct classes). A class is the tool plus its normalised error reason.
Failed after noting it25% of failed calls came after the agent had written about that tool or reason in its notes.

§5Trajectory

Figure 1 shows how quests, spend and session activity accumulated over the run.

(a) Cumulative quests completed

(b) Cumulative inference spend, USD

(c) Cost of each session, at its start time

Fig. 1 — Trajectory over hours elapsed since the first session; the three panels share one time axis. (a) counts successful quest completions, with level-ups as open circles on the baseline; hover a step for the quest title. (b) is cache-aware spend from per-call telemetry. (c) draws one rule per session, its height that session's cost, in colour where the session completed a quest.

# Goal
Complete as many quests as possible.

# Current state (session 5, 2026-10-17)
- Account QuestRunner index 3417, room 3 Torii Gate. Stamina 100. Operator gas ~0.00422 ETH, owner ~0.00118 ETH (mainnet ~0.00039); conserve gas.
- a kami in the live season, now level 2, RESTING briefly but re-started harvest at node 3 at block 34575034. HP was 60/60 when harvest began; it drains ~3.9 HP/hour. Harvest time >5 min quest complete. Harvest start cooldown is about 5 min; don't attempt stop/collect until cooldown allows.
- Quests 1-4 complete. Quest 5 What Kami Do: Scavenging accepted; objective claim 1 scavenge item. Node 3 tier cost 100, account had 4 points before current harvest, and points accrue in proportion to harvest output (~21 MUSU/hour). Need ~96 more points (~4.5h) then claim+reveal safely via `scavenge_claim_and_reveal(node_index=3)`.
- Quest 7 Making $MUSU accepted; objective collect 500 MUSU total. We have collected 4 so far, so long-term harvest/collect needed. Quest 8 waits quest 7. Quest 6 (liquidate another Kami) needs another player's low-HP active harvest and is risky; defer.
- Quest 3002 Health & Safety completed (used one Cultivation I item on Kami). Quest 3003 requires quest 5 first. Kami leveled to 2 already, could qualify once unlocked.
- Inventory includes 1 Neith's River of Life (account stamina restore), currently no Cultivation I left. Kami HP is full at last check.

# Session 5 actions/state
- Completed quest 4 after its >5 minute harvest; harvested 4 MUSU.
- Accepted quest 5 and quest 7.
- Accepted/completed quest 3002 by feeding Cultivation I (11211), +100 XP; leveled Kami to level 2.
- Restarted harvest node 3; currently active.
- Harvest stop initially reverted via dry-run due cooldown (no gas spent); avoid retry until cooldown expires.

# Next session
1. Recheck kami, node 3 scavenge points, quests, gas. Harvest should have continued. If >=100 points, use `scavenge_claim_and_reveal(node_index=3)` (combined function waits for later block and reveals) then complete quest 5.
2. Once quest 5 complete, accept quest 6 and quest 3003 where available; inspect objectives/gates. Quest 3003 likely satisfied by Kami's existing level-up.
3. Keep progressing MUSU quest 7 by collecting at safe intervals; HP falls ~3.9/hr, so after ~10h collect or stop, then rest before restarting. Node output ~21/hr. Don't let HP reach zero.

§9Sessions

One row per session: what it worked toward, why it ended, what it cost. Open a row for what the agent said and did; reads are grouped, failed calls are folded under their step, tx marks an on-chain transaction.

5 2.4 9 $0.024 by itself
4 2.3 2 $0.012 by itself
3 1.3 16 $0.026 call budget
2 0.2 12 $0.036 call budget
1 0.0 $0.004 by itself

Notes

  1. Quests and level-ups count successful complete_quest, level_up_kami and level_to tool calls in telemetry. They are agent-reported; chain verification is to follow.
  2. Spend is priced with the run's pinned price table (Table 1). Earnings, gas and S(t) are pending the independent computation.
